I also work with academic primitivism.

This is a style that consciously uses elements of primitivism and art brut to engage with academic discourses in politics, philosophy and cultural studies.

With the help of drastic humour and brutal mockery on the one hand, and tender, naive and childlike admiration for the eternal and the beautiful on the other, my work aims to amuse, sensitise, provoke, stimulate thoughts and feelings.

My main concern is the liberation of mankind and the recovery of our true dignity as universal beings.

In the work "5th Dimension" I deal with the subject of Ascension and Transfiguration. Raising one's own vibration through the power of love to a certain frequency level allows people to find themselves in another reality. The 5th dimension is a world of light that has only one law and that is love. According to many outstanding spiritual teachers in our world, we know what life is like in the 5th dimension. It is a world that only beings who can truly love can enter. This does not just mean sexual libido, but the ability to empathise, to accept, to be kind. It is the knowledge of one's higher, infinite consciousness on the one hand, and the awareness of the transience of one's earthly body on the other, that enables living beings to ascend into the higher dimension. It is the ability to recognise the needs and desires of other living beings and the will to satisfy and fulfil them that makes it easier for oneself. Ultimately, it is the knowledge of one's higher purpose that enables a being, a soul, to achieve that purpose.

„NECESSITAS VITAE PRAESENTIS“

"Necessitas vitae pressentis"

Is a work that deals with ancient philosophical discourse. The Latin phrase Necessitas vitae praesentis (the necessity of being on earth) refers to the compulsion of a supposedly undesirable action. The phrase indicates a compulsion, and a compulsion always has a negative connotation, as something you want to throw away, something you want to get rid of. Anything that you are compelled to do, whether it is daily grooming, earning money, maintaining personal relationships, preparing meals, and so on, can seem tedious and uncomfortable if it is not seen as a higher purpose. However, all these activities are part of the creative process because they lead to greater awareness and power in every way. The prerequisite is that one loves them, accepts the fact of earthly presence and appreciates the process as something sacred. For the exploitation and destruction of the earth, the flora and the fauna only takes place in a non-loving consciousness, in a consciousness that has not come to terms with the 'necessity of earthly life' in a loving way. A, let's call it, religious view of the world and of life is capable of preventing the destruction and exploitation of the planet and of preventing it in the long term. Necessity, with its inherent burden and hated compulsion, is transformed into a magical and joyful game in which no living being has to suffer.

"Rescue of the Minotaur"

The rescue of the Minotaur
This work deals with the myth of the ancient Greeks, the labyrinth of the Minotaur. In my case, the brave Theseus, who killed the Minotaur, has to rescue the poor anthropomorphic creature from the terrible labyrinth. In this work, too, I try to do away with the cruelty and injustice of culturally established myths. The story is turned around so that the Minotaur, unjustly imprisoned in a labyrinth of death, is rescued by Theseus, whose courage is based on love and compassion.
Greek mythology, permeated by cruelty and violence, still has a strong influence on our way of thinking and living. Because what we once recognised as part of our cultural heritage goes straight into our subconscious and forms our basic outlook on life.
Theseus, not driven by testosterone, adrenaline and arrogance, will be more in tune with our modern times of awareness, acceptance and love.
The barbaric, bloodthirsty world view of antiquity WILL be lovingly and playfully replaced by an impulse of kindness and forgiveness.
The Labyrinth represents the subconscious. The anthropomorphic bull represents an animalistic, strong and unconscious creature that can unintentionally harm itself and others, and has therefore been pushed into the subconscious by the powerful culture, to spend its days in misery and darkness, never to unfold. Theseus died just for this power, like a conscious and strong individual who dominates the animal and stands and dissolves it as he should destroy it.

But violence comes from violence. That is why Theseus realises that he does not want to kill, because he is aware of his creative aspects. E is no longer a person, but a soul. He takes the animal aspect out of the realm of the repressed, out of the labyrinth of the subconscious, and treats it like a higher being, with love and compassion, drawing it in, caring for it and accepting it.
This mythological reappraisal is intended to bring about a positive change in our view of the future, in which cruelty and violence, cunning, deception or exploitation no longer find a place, but compassion, awareness and love emerge as guidelines for action.

"Saint George the Victorious loves the dragon"

80X90

mixed media on selfmade canvas

In the story of St George, the hero kills the dragon that wants to eat a princess during one of his crusades through the kingdom of Berit (today Beijrut).
The reversal of this myth is the sacred and loving devotion to the animal. In my depiction, St George heals the dragon with the universal, cosmic energy of love, which he receives as sacred and passes on to the animal. For both the environment and the animal world react to human activity and change evolutionarily accordingly. The dragon represents Satan or the evil in man, so the only way to inner and outer peace is to recognise and heal the dragon or the evil within. Violence leads to violence. Love brings peace and harmony.

"Perseus loves Medusa"

57X75

This work deals with the mythological theme of the execution of Medusa Gorgona. The myth tells of the brave Perseus who beheaded the terrible Medusa Gorgona, whose seductive beauty had turned her into a monster. The goddess Athena, who caught the god Poseidon playing libidinous with Medusa, became jealous and angry and transformed the beautiful Medusa into a horrible monster and finally banished her to a desert island. I think this is one of the most unjust stories in mythology. Medusa, who was once a wonderful woman, fell victim to interpersonal violence three times. The first time was when the ruler Poseidon made her the object of his lust; the second time was when she fell victim to the egg addiction of the powerful goddess Athena. The third time she was beheaded by the bold and vain Perseus.
My aim in this work was to turn the myth, which is based on absolute violence and injustice, and which dramatically stains our culture and our understanding of human relationships, into a story in which Perseus has compassion for the poor Medusa he finds, falls in love with her and, with the power of his love, transforms her back into a wonderful young woman.
